Care & Maintenance
We want you to enjoy our beautiful products for many years to come. By following the simple care and maintenance instructions below, your new surface will continue to provide lasting durability and elegance.
Installation Notes:
- Do not overtighten drain fixtures. Caulk with pliable plumbers putty and tighten locknut on drain fixture finger tight plus one, half turn.
- Hot water should not exceed 140 degrees F. Excessively high water temperatures may damage the surface of the product.
Cultured Marble Care & Maintenance:
- Clean with damp cloth and non-abrasive liquid cleaner.
- Help protect the surface with regular applications of liquid or paste wax.
- Light scratches can be repaired by light sanding with #600 grit wet-sandpaper and buffing with automotive rubbing compound. Reapply wax.
Natural Stone Care & Maintenance:
- This top needs to be resealed with stone sealer annually. Once sealer dries, apply stone polish and buff.
- To remove difficult spills, wipe the surface with warm water and soap.
- Although Natural Stone is heat-resistant, all stone can be damaged by sudden and extreme temperature changes, especially near the edges.
- Avoid exposing your Natural Stone surface to strong chemicals and solvents. Also avoid exposing your Natural Stone surface to chemicals with high alkaline/PH levels, such as oven cleaners.
- Although Natural Stone is scratch- and heat-resistant, we recommend protecting your Natural Stone surface by using a hot pad or trivet for extreme heat protection and a cutting board to avoid damage to your knives.
